Françoise OROS had already completed her medical studies when she had her
fateful encounter with sculpture.
For more than ten years, she studied sculpture alongside her job, with
distinguished professionals such as Viviane AMBRE, Bruno ECAULT,
Vincent DUNGLAS and Dominique KAEPPELIN.
She participated in several collective exhibitions in the Parisian area, twice
taking part in the Salon des Artistes Indépendants in Ville d’Avray.
In 2000 she decided to forgot her career to consecrate herself entirely to her
passion for sculpture. At that time she moved to MOUGINS.
Françoise OROS works mostly with clay, which she then casts in bronze. She
also sculpts stone and wood.
In her sculpture Françoise OROS seeks
to express universal sentiment, a relationship between beings
to attain pure, totally essential lines
to eliminate all detail which ties a work to a place, an age, or a culture
and finally, to offer a glimpse of what uplifts all human beings, regardless of
age, race or continent… Love.
